Gameplay comparison
« on: October 20, 2011, 12:53:52 pm »
While not trying to "100%" compare a game that is in pre-production, I kind of get the feel that the intended gameplay while on a run will be akin to Silent Storm. Is this a fair guess? Admittedly I have not played any Jagged Alliance games (for shame Dime!) as of yet. Would they also be in the vein of Silent Storm?

It's been years since I played any Jagged Alliance, but looking at Silent Storm it does seem a lot like JA.

Yes, this would be accurate - let's say we will end up somewhere between Jagged Alliance/Silents Storm and Baldur's Gate with regards to gameplay. Just with more oomph and a whole layer of legwork missions  ;)

I like "oomph". Gaming in general needs more of it!

Aww, I had this imagining in my head of the turn-based component being somewhat like classic Fallout without the APs.
